so i ordered one of these off of ebay, w/o actually realizing that they are only made for M/T. My 3g is auto, is there any real significant differences that would make this intake not compatible with an automatic car?

im gonna try the install later tonight, the short ram i have is part 22-433p
and isnt the cold air intake for the eclipse made for both auto/manual?
i found it odd, that the short ram for a 2.4l is only manual, im worried about the air-filter actually fitting and not rubbing the tranny

do you think there will be enough clearence for the filter to fit? thats what im rele not sure of, i know the piping will be ez

It'll fit. An SRI is not effected by transmission type as it just sits where the stock air box was.
