Need Advice

I'm in desparate need for advice on how I should modify my car. I have a silver eclipse (picture below) and I want to go with a black and silver color scheme. I have a black grille, front and back clear corners, and black emblems all waiting to be installed. If i plan on buying some black shell dual halo headlights and some black TYC tail lights should I also get a clear 3rd brake light and smoke it along with the clear corners or will it look bad having the only red on my car be part of the taillights? Also in the spring once all the salt and sand is off the road I plan to refinish my wheels and powdercoat them black and I may buy a carbon fiber hood too. Please feel free to give your 2 cents and any pictures of cars that have similar modifications would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone that posts here are just going to be telling you what THEY would do...get ideas from other cars, but ultimately do what you you will like. Take a look at the Members Rides forum and go from there.

Do what you want to do. There are plenty of 3Gs on here with a lot of unique flavors, so find what you like and commit to it. Good luck.

Yeah, I've already looked at a lot of silver 3g's but I haven't seen any that are quite what I'm going for. I guess I'm just going to buy the parts, put em on and see if it looks good or not. Thanks guys.

Not sure if you've seen pics of mine. Check out my myspace and my personal webpage for pics of mine. I have the black/silver theme going. In short, I have the depo projector headlights (black housing), TYC tails, smoked covers for front turns and 3rd brake light, grillcraft 5-piece kit, gunmetal rims, etc. I'd be happy to give you any advice or make suggestions, so hit me up online. Thanks so much Silverbullet, I've been looking all over the forums for a car that would show me what mine is going to look like and yours certainly is that car. Looks great and I'll be sure to post pics of mine when it's done.

dude if I were you I'd wait awhile before doing any modds to your ride. I have the same year? and color car you've got and I'm doing all the research,etc. I can before I commit to modding something. but that's just me, a friendly advice to a fellow 3G owner. good luck bro:hbang:
