Obviously with nitrous. :elvis:

No but im thinking of dropping some dough on a kit like the NX dpni efi kit.
Sure im going to have to tap the manifold and thread it which doesnt seem that bad. But im curious about the fuel system on the eclipse. Is it returnable type? Im thinking about droping 2 degree colder plugs( 3* if found) im not sure exactly how i should decrease igntition timing?
What kind of injectors could i plus size too? IM only aiming for about 60HP :ndance: can the 5 speed hang?

:hmm:

:uh:
Please try those heat-range 3 spark plugs and let us know how they work!! 2 degrees colder would mean heat range 7!

ORLY thanks for those replies guys you are the coolest.

Any how when I post a video of my 1/4 time dont ask me to give you details about the setup you might as well put a finger in your ass :ndance: to make the time pass cause youll never get an answer.

:noplease: I dont need a reply fuck you that posted

well, you don't need to get all upset for not reading the rules about searching before posting n00blet.
But, let's see those times...most of us don't live our lives a 1/4 mile at a time like yourself, but I'm sure we want to see a 16 second pass from you :2008:

Don't waste your time with nitrous. If you really want to go fast, get a turbo. If you're just trying to impress your friends with a nitrous kit, then just mount a bottle that's visible through your back window.

I used to run a 300 shot on my old whip and I'll tell you what I've learned:

What a naturally aspirated motor runs off of is the same air you breathe. 79% Nitrogen, 20.xx% of Oxygen, and small amounts of different gases that dont' matter. (N4O)

Now what nitrous is, is 66.7% Nitrogen, and 33.3% Oxygen. (N2O). Oxygen is the catalyst, and Nitrogen is the buffer. Less counts of Nitrogen per Oxygen in a combustion, results in a more rapid, explosive combustion. Nitrogen slows down combustion. Nitrous oxide in itself is not flammable.

"Now we got to rip apart the block and destroy the piston rings you fried."

-Vin Diesel

Yes we've all seen Fast and the Furious and now you'll finally get to elaborate on this quote that's given in the movie you watch every night before you jack off and cry yourself to sleep on.

A 50 shot of Nitrous Oxide adds very close to 50ft/lbs of torque to just about any motor. It also raises cylinder pressure to levels that will blow head gaskets, promote detonation, and fry rings. Rings seal from cylinder pressure, not from the weak tension applied when they are pressed into a cylinder. Whenever you spray, those rings push into the cylinder wall much more than on atmospheric air, causing more friction, resulting in fried rings over time. Adding 50 ft/lbs of torque by forcing atmospheric air into your motor through a turbo doesn't create near as much cylinder pressure, but does raise it.

Nitrous is cheap now, but after a few motors, the turbo kit doesn't seem so bad if you would have bought it initially.

Now I just realized that I wrote a fucking paper for someone who probably doesn't understand a word I just said. I'm thinking sticky...

Lol, no big deal, i read it. :wavey:
Although this is a 4 banger chat, and your build seems to be much cheaper than for us v6 guys, we tend to enjoy the spraying route very much. I'll be there shortly on the 3.5 :yum:

My buddy had a 94 Stealth with the 3.0 SOHC non-turbo motor in it, and he sprayed a 100 shot on it for me on a WOT pull and I laughed.

I have to disagree.

But thank you for elaborating. :yesway:
agreed.

Any how Im not arguing this at all. Im sure I know what I have to do to make the stock block handle 50hp. Hell with a nice build Im guessing as high as 150hp. Now you said you got an engine to do 300 shot:lolspit:. Yeah ok no details for the noob cause he coulding understand what nitrous does huh ? yeah :ninja2:

why are you looking at nitrous even? if you want to get 150hp (which is what it seem from your last post) you might as well get a turbo. a neverending supply of power is better than a shot. and hell, I could care less how fast you can make it down the 1/4 mile cause your still a noob who didn't search.

I ran a mustang with 100 shot.....he would take me by 3 cars spraying, but I could take him by half a car if he wasn't....that's a pretty big difference to me....
Mustang's respond VERY well to nitrous. I have raced 3 Mustangs and TWO of them had nitrous backfire. One was a Mach 1 with a cast intake so it just blew out the filter. The other was a GT which blew a hole in the intake manifold because those are plastic on the GT. The third one has been on a 125 shot for about a year and a half and hasn't had a single problem. He just sold his car. He probably finally got around to doing a leakdown test :lmfao:
