Engine had 130K miles on it and was running, starting to burn some oil (mechanic said valve stem seals needed replacement). Engine is complete, come and take it away if you are in the Sacramento/Marysville/Grass Valley area. This is the 3.0 liter V6.

You're going to sell your motor just because it needs valve stem seals. Have you compared the price to replace this motor to repair what needs to be fixed?
I.m surprised you still have the motor being you made this post 20 hours ago. At that price, they would be stealing it from you. I would love to have that motor for a spare but I live too far from you so the shipping would cost an arm and a leg. Wonder who the lucky person will be?

Yikes, and no doubt it's a LOT colder where you are. It's already been Spring here for weeks. I actually had the engine swapped out at a local mechanic's a couple of years ago, have since sold the car. The engine's been in covered storage since then, but my BF reminded me he'd like to see it gone. I have no idea what the market value should be. If that's a steal, maybe you can find somebody to collect it and ship it to you?
As tempting as your offer seems I have to pass. I had plastic parts sent from Cali and it cost me near $600 dollars for shipping... The package may have weighed 50 lbs... Could you imagine what it would cost to ship an engine? I'm sure someone will grab it up real soon , even for parts it's a great buy
