Hard choice, guys. I'm deciding between buying a motherfucking sweet 911 Cabriolet (non-turbo, of course--not made of moolah) and a G35 Coupe.
I have yet to drive either, but what do y'all think I should do?
If I sell the 2G (
) I would have [a total of] $30,000 to put towards the car, the rest will have to come out of the HELOC (
). I don't relish the thought of making payments again.
2005 G35 Coupe:
Positives:
Nice interior!
Brand-spankin'-new
Pretty
Not too slow (?)
Somewhat sporty
Negatives:
Everyone fucking has one
Don't really know if it's sporty enough for me. Have to drive it first.
2000 911 Cabriolet:
Positives:
I will finally get laid
Pretty
Sporty and fun to drive
Convertible
I want one bad.
Negatives:
Everyone fucking has one (SoCal, remember)
Everyone will think I'm a lawyer
I live in Mira Mesa
Five-years-old, $40,000 to $50,000
Insurance
Timebomb?
Weak-sauce interior
Dunno, should I go with my heart or go with my wallet? Anyone know how the G35 Coupe actually drives compared to a kitted-out 2G? I'll tell you I went and test drove a Boxster S and was SORELY disappointed.
