:fever: Lately i have been going out on the weekends and hanging with the "ricers", its been boring here in mobile.

one of my buddies has a 95 supra TT(i think he put a single turbo... a HUGE turbo). :twothumb:
We were bored because everybody was just sitting there talking doing nothing... i wanted to see somebody race. so he finally let me take a ride in his supra. as soon as i hoped in his car i notices he doesn't have a passanger side seat belt.. :ugh: . i was like ... holy shit..... he just took me around the block and let feel the enormous pounds of boost. :yesway: ...we stopped and went to get some gas, i hoped straight in the back seat... cause he has a seat belts their :lol: as we were ridding he saw this 97 nissan 240sx(this car is pulling like 500HP :eek2: ) one of the most sexiest 240's you will ever see...so we caught up to him. we played around with our boost control(he did not me) he put it on 26 PSI running LEAN as hell..... i was like ok... from a 30 mph roll.

we both gunned it, i could have swore we were going about 120Mph in like 3 sec. lol between each shift was the nicest cleanist BOV you will ever hear in your life. by both cars. we pulled on him about 1/2 a car length, witch was pretty impressive.then some truck pulls in our lane as we were going going like 120mph........

I was like HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT..... i was glad i hoped in the backseat...it had a seat belt..we slam on brakes.... all i am hearing is tires chirping .... we barely stopped behind the guy.... i saw my life flash..... but then i remebered that we beat the 240 .. i was like YAYAYAYYAYAY/ :fever:

we said that is enough.... lets drop me back to my car :help: ..... we are driving and their is a 2001 TA. we look back and the guy wants to have fun... we take it from 40mph roll... WE ate him ALIVE..... i have never seen a TA get beat so bad... we run again... and again from a roll.... we win and again again...
we lined up to like about three red lights... :twothumb: the thired one the guys says lets take it from a stand still... we can't because he will shatter his drive shaft( he has done it before)....
then the guy starts talking shit like crazy....
"you don't want any of this American Muscle..Your turbo POS can't take me, If only i brought out my corvette i would eat you alive :squint: .."
we can't cause ours will wheel hope so bad that the driveshaft will shatter.
he pisses us off,
so we both take off we had one car length ahead in first, after some wheel hoping.... went to shift into second.... no second....tried again... no second...."he says FUCK" then i hear some pieces flying around somewhere.......
the big TA guy must have felt cocky just about then....

we let the car roll into the parking lot, and he says that his clutch shattered.... i was like ok.....

we lost the final run, and his car but it was a good experience for me...

sorry if the story is longand not making any sense, just read through it....

it makes perfect sense, you and your friends are idots for doing this crap on public streets and deserve anything and everything that may happen if you continue such activity

Well, there are those of us who sometimes take part in organized, leagal forms of racing, and this is a good forum to discuss that.

And there's also times you race at somewhat sane speeds, ie up to around 65-70, or maybe do a 40-80 roll. Once you start hitting the triple digits on highways, you're getting a bit too quick.

 

Your friend had nothing to prove to the guy in the TA; it was pretty stupid to run after he knew he'd fuck up his car. Do you have any pics of the Supra?

But street racing at low speeds is boring and IMO not even worth it. If you are gonna do something dumb you may as well go vin diesel style! :lol:

anyway... i will get some pics of his car..... he cut a hole in his passanger side headlight because the intake is right behind the headlight... makes it look allitle shitty... but he says it is worth it performance wise...

i was in england in my friends stock apart from full dekat twin turbo supra we raced a mistubishi GTO HKS twin turbo and was kinda good race untill we hit around 160 then went flying ahead of him hes face was like :eek2: as we went passed him and we just went on and on untill the needle wnet of the clock (which is 180) but revs were still going up and on the gps it was saying 197 then i was like WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO was AWESOME i would love a supra but to pricey in USA, in england you can find em for around 7k to about 15k, and by the way the GTO twin turbo in england is what you call the 3000GT over here in USA but with twin turbos, so kinda like the VR4 i think? but was a great adrenalin rush race, so yes supra is a bad ass car
