Can someone help me. Got a 01 GT Spyder. Horn doesn't honk when I lock or unlock the doors, I checked the alarm horn. It work, it gets no electrical pulse when the button is pressed , swapped the two horn relays and they both work, checked the programming, tried the one beep and the two beeps and still nothing. Is there another common issue? Panic button just flashes the lights and no sound as well

Interesting because I'm having the exact same issue with my 01 Spyder GS. I'm tackling other issues till I can research this one. But quickly looking at the diagrams there is a couple fuses in the theft alarm system that could cause this problem. Check 11 (15A) and 10 (10A) Also I'm wondering if there is a second horn as the diagram shows theft alarm horn and another wire going to the actuated horn.

My car has never had a honk to it when locking or unlocking, which is normal. However I do believe there is a way, maybe in the owners manual, to program it to honk by pressing a certain combination from your key fob.

2000 GT does the same, lights flash for theft alarm but no horn, also mine will trigger when using the key to unlock the passenger door before the driver. I have to unlock the car using the driver side door or still have to walk to that side to insert the key to turn off the flashing lights.
