Well I dont know if it's in the right section but it is definatly a show and shine project ! ;) A friend of mine have been working on the body of his car for like 5 years now and I wanted to show you guys his progress! I have only pictures of the front here taken at the montreal SCP last year, the rear part is awsome too but it changed a lot ths winter so I'll wait to get some pics of the final prodect! hehe The interior and engine are bone stock. The front fenders / hood / top are all carbon and the hole car has been made with his own 2 hands! I have a lot of respect for his tallent!

Here is a pic what is car was looking like a few years ago ( thats not exactly his car but I just pic this pic on google )

Thats the point, that you like or not the design of this car isnt even important, if you pay attention to the details in the paint and the body itself thats what it impressive in my opinion! The yamaha R1 headlight molded in the hole carbon front, the candy red vs painted desigh on the fenders. And the fact that he made all this with his own two hands I think he deserve :twothumb:

Anyway thats my opinion :)

cars are ment to be driven, else they wouldn't have an engine. having a cf front end would cost a pretty penny to fix. the effort on the body should have been put in the design. theres no need for that wavy hood n fenders. i do commend this person on his effort to be unique, just too over the top for a car.

In no way is this DSM modded for my tastes, but I do respect his talent with bodywork. On the other hand, that bodywork makes no sense to me at all, and the car probably only sees the road when it's being backed onto a trailer of some sort.

I cant really say if it's R6 headlights or R1 I dont rememeber exactly. And has I see a lot of you dont like the design witch is ok everybody have their opinions hehe! This guys start buiding this car at 16 years old with only a few tips from his father who have made a bit of bodywork in his life and I guess he learned a lot with this car. The goal of his work was more to experiment the limits of what could be done with carbon fiber and do what he truely want to do for his hole life, conversions! His next project will probably start this summer witch is a rear supra conversion on a 97 toyota celica that will be a more convensional bodywork than his eagle talon.

Here is a few picture of the back conversion of the talon but it changed a lot this winter! And you can also see the first from bumper he made in his life.
