Hey guys,
I am contacting many companies for different interior parts to be be made out of carbon fiber. This is by no means a group buy, just a means for me to see if others would want things made so that we could all get them cheaper than one offs. I am planning on doing at least doing my armrest and center console along with glovebox. Just post what you may have interest in. From this I can gather ideas for what parts to have produced! Thanks guys! Also if you want more info just pm me.

Well I had just contacted a few companies and they said that for armrest, glove box, and center console I'm looking at 2grand. I'm like yea f that, I mean I knew it'd be expensive but hot damn. So I just ordered some resins and whatnot to start making molds to take on the art myself, so thanks for letting me know what you guys are looking for. And please keep them coming so I can get ideas!

 score one for the clueless.. there's a reason that CF isn't on everything..

ask them how much time it takes to make a single piece--that is what eats up so much of the cost.. i have my doubts most here really are interested in spending that much time making anything..

That looks like the same one I had, my very first one... Hell even the blemish and mar is in the same place. That was a very well made product except for where the bad spot was. :(

The last one I had made cracked all up and actually broke the clock pod underneath. Although I did mess with it the other night and came up with an idea that I still might be able to use it and bring my car's dash back to what it was every since I started here!

... man I miss that fucking look!

Right that's why I'm making my own. It really is not that hard. The hard part is that most of composite companies have a process, and in order to make ANY part it is required first to be CPU aided drawn by an engineer. That's all just wasted money. So what I'm saying is that I am planning on making my own, are there any you'd be interested in?
