I just got done installing my full set of firm motor mounts. It was like night and day!!! :twothumb: . Both my side mounts were shot! My front end squeeked like a bitch all the time, now its silent as a dead mans ass! My shifting used to be sloppy and I was alwase missing gears, a thing of the past!!!! All gears were crisp and sweet. NO MORE WHEEL HOP!!!!!! the motor is as solid as a rock. THis has got to have been the best $300 I have spent on my car yet!!! I recoment these to anyone, weather you need to replace a bad mount or are just looking for a place to spend some money wisely. Thanks Deyeme Racing for making a superb product!!!!

that is for the 4 pieces.

how can you tell if a motor mount is broke? can you just look at it and tell? or do you need to take it off and examine it?

If you know waht to look for you can tell by looking at it on the car.

I posted a pic of mine when I first noticed it was broken and an obvious noob said; "what, its normal". WHen I took it off, it fell apart into 5 pieces of rubber. :lol:

Anyways, the rubber in the mount is only connected to the metal by two small areas. When these contact points break off from the mount. The mount is no good.

If you take it off and it does this;

Its bad. :lol:

I just got done installing the front and rear motormounts from deyeme racing and I agree that they are an awesome mod to do for your car. Shifting is so much smoother than stock. Starting off from a stop is a whole lot smoother as well. I can barely notice any additional vibrations in the cabin so it's not a big worry.

Another happy customer here. I just replaced the front motor mount. It took all of 15 minutes to do. I can't believe how much better my launches are, especially when going uphill into a corner from a stop. Just about no wheel hop at all anymore, it's just a nice, satisfying spin and off I go. The difference is night and day. As for vibration into the cabin, I can't say I feel any difference at all. :yesway:

What really amazed me was how flexible and shoddy the factory mount was. Only two small bands of rubber holding the front end together. :ugh: What kind of garbage is that???
