Gauging Interest VIS hood GB

Since carbon is a commodity in this industry it is becoming more scarce and prices are rising. In order to keep the prices down. I'm thinking of running a GB. Not sure how the pricing is going to be but I just want to get a rough head count of how many people would want the hoods. If interested just reply with a post of the style hood that you want in this thread.

Alright guys, this is how it is going to start off. Need 5 buyers to get the GB pricing Vented hoods: XGT, Vader, EVO will be approx $550 shipped to a business address. Includes tracking # and Full Insurance. Applies to inner 48 states only. I can take deposits to reserve your hoods for those who don't have funds. Those who have funds and want to join please PM or email me boosted3g@hotmail.com to arrange payment. Hoods are instock ready to be shipped once the quota of 5 buyers are met. No delays or waiting. Local southern california buyers PM or email me.

It'd be great if you could actually get the ones you have listed. Unfortunately the Evo8 and XGT are on a rediculous backorder. Has this changed in the last month or two?

Well, actually it's not that hard to get any of those but they might cost alittle more than before. The thing is that if you want the original 2x2 weave, then it will be almost, if not, 100% impossible to find. The new 12k weave, on the other hand, isn't a problem to get.

Im having b.o.v. try to find me an original 2x2 weave Evo style because I have a cf hatch (2x2) and I want them to match. But, gL with the GB

Nope I have them right now but not at a GB price. If you are interested just PM me.

Be aware that VIS is having issues getting in hoods (I've been waiting for a very long time) and do not have eclipse in stock so your best bet is to get from a Seibon dealer...just my .02

If you get them from elsewhere I might be in on this.

really when did you ordered... I place an order about second week of July and got my hood at the end of third week, I brought the x gt one... shipping was pretty fast too, about 10 business days to process and shipped to maryland...

Bought a full Bomex kit and an Invader hood from PJ Automotive Nov. of 2004, Peter at VIS has claimed everything from truck stolen in Miami to someone at the shop stole my kit, every week its something new. PJ was helpful in the begining but then dumped me off straight to VIS and now I have to go through the trouble of filing a small claims law suit against PJ and VIS...Spoke to PJ the other day and thats where I found about selling the business and the new guy shutting it down.

Sorry to hear about your lost man, does sound like PJ Auto is leaving you hanging, hope you get your money back.

regarding the hoods. no worries on the allocation of the hoods. I have them on hand but I would like to order more at a bulk rate so everyone saves $$$. So I can get them no problem. Just needing the comittment here but only like 4 people are interested.

hope to see more responses
