I have a few questions on how to install the grille... i looked at pictures of whats behind the fake grille and its just a couple holes. Do you have to cut it out and drill the grille into place? and is cost the same even to hawaii (96822). thanks.

You don't have to cut the bumper behind the fake vents if you don't want to. Of course, if you do, there will be better air flow, but again it is not necessary. Let me check the shipping to your zip. I will send you a PM this afternoon.

Do you have to take off the bumper to install the 2003-04 lower grill? And do you have the link to the install online?
You should not have to remove the 03-04 bumper to install these. I have an 02 and did not have to remove my bumper to install this kit. A little tip would be to take out your headlights (much easier than taking of the whole bumper) to reach down to where you need to put the screws in that hold this in place. ;)

Let me know if either of you still have questions.

Thanks,
Liz

how would u would cut out the bumper to shape the grille...
All you need is a dremel to cut through the bumper. (You could probably use a very sharp knife too, but with a dremel the edges will come out straight and nice. )

Thanks,
Liz

To answer a few questions... the LOWER grill, you will have to remove your front bumper to install it. Physically impossible not to. On the good side, taking the bumper off is a walk in the park.
All you have to do for the side vents is drill 2 holes, put the clips on and screw in the screw. It would be possible to put the side vents on without removing the bumper but IMO, removing the bumper is so easy I don't see why you wouldn't just remove it. It gives you an opportunity to clean a place that never gets any loving anyways.

Just ordered my 5 piece grill. :twothumb: I'll do some before and after pictures and post links when I get it put on.

This will cover up the 8" scratch I put in it in the large opening the first week I had it. :ugh: :bash:

Thanks DNL Auto Sports for the free shipping.

Hey Ray,

Got the order and it is placed with the distributor. :) Good deal on taking pics... anything to cover up scratches, right? If you have any questions during install, let me know.

Thanks,
Liz

After looking over the instructions and the parts I installed my grill today. Total time 2 hours working by myself. A little advice for anyone that's going to do this. When you're putting the headlights back in, leave the turn signal out so you can reach up and align the square plastic clip on the bottom of the headlamp.
