We all meet inside the auto show or we all carpool, or some of each and some of each.

Then we meet up

Walk around and take pictures

Afterwards, we all leave and go our seperate ways, or grab a bite to eat.

Then everyone goes their seperate ways

Well, all we know right now is that the show runs from Friday, Feb. 10th to Sunday, Feb. 19th. Loco mentioned Saturday the 11th....I wish I could plan that far ahead. I'll be in touch once we're within a few weeks of the show.

I usually go to the autoshow anyway so maybe I will meet up with you guys. Once we know how many are going, I can try and get freebies for the show. The CATA (chicagoland automobile trade association) puts it on every year and gives free passes and discount tickets to dealers. Discount tickets I know I can get, but the free passes are getting very hard to come by (cheap friggin bastards). One year, the owner of the store I was working for was also the pres of the CATA and gave me his pin (for CATA board of directors). Basically, it lets you go behind all the ropes and sit in anything you want. I loved watching the faces of everyone staring at the lambos and ferraris as I go under the ropes and get behind the wheel.

As soon as I find out how many the store is getting, and how many of what kind I can grab, I'll let you guys know. I know I will have a fistful of the discount tickets (SHHH.. They are available at ANY dealership if you just ask for them). The total freebies are different though. Certain quantities per store.

yeah. We usually keep all the freebies for us and give out the discount ones to customers. Almost all dealers do the same thing.
