since a baby is on the way I have decided to sell the eclipse, I still don't know what car to buy I would like to spend no more than 22-24K and I want a 4 door automatic V6. I have thought about an Altima, Maxima and the Mazda6. What other cars do you guys recommend I take a look at.

Too bad your price range is a little low, I would highly recommend the new 9-3 Aero. V6 turbo, 4 door, very good looks, tons of features, one of the safest cars on the road, but pretty far out of your price range. Sorry, Im a Saab nut now that I have a 9-3, I love it way too much.

Yeah I can understand where you are coming from. I kind of regret spending 20K on my Saab. Oh well. I guess I could turn around and make a profit by selling it right now, but I couldnt do it, I like this car way too much.

No. The new Aero has a turbocharged 2.8L V6 rated at 250hp. However, it is still FWD. MSRP starts at $32K.

Unfortunately, as much as I like the 9-3, there are far too many choices in the mid-$30K that completely outshine it. Furthermore, resale on Saabs of any sort is really, really bad.

This is true, but only when they are brand new does the resale value really plummit. I bought my 9-3 for 20K with 26,000 miles on it. I could turn around and sell it for a bit more than I bought it for right now.

I agree though, I would never spend $30,000+ on a brand new one, well maybe since I have driven one for a while now and there is a V6 model, but probably not.

Hey dude i would go with the maxima all the way if your looking into a 4 door car. It's a basically a 4-dour sports car. My cuz drives a 2003 max and he loves it. Hes like 6'5' so he cant fit in most cars so thats why he got a max. Theres is a lot a of room in that car plus it pushes 260 hp stock. So he aint lacking power. He can do 14.9 on the quarter mile stock.

This is his car on Cardomain. He recently got new rims for his Max. :twothumb:

Friend of mine has a farily new mazda 6. very nice car, and he really likes it. Unfortunately, I can't offer you any more than that as I have only ridden in it a few times.
