So I turned 17 and being the spoiled jerk I am my parents bought me a pretty decent 2000 GS. Pretty high mileage, 148,000 miles, and all stock. However the car was a surprise and I already had a little over 1,000 I was saving for a car. So I figure I can throw that into the thing. Not looking to be a fast car. Just looking to make it more fun to drive. I figured short ram intake, headers, and new exhaust. The basics until I start working more in the summer. My dad got me a job at a Mitsubishi dealership a year or so ago so I have a very small technical know how. So what do you all recommend I do?

New struts/springs combo for a daily driven car. KYB AGX and tein S tech spring will work great on a GS. New headlights, catback, tail lights, and turn signals. Those are good starters. Check out "members ride" section for ideas.

And before you ask too many question, remember to always search first.

The first pic is a month or so old. I have replaced the headlights with shinier OEM ones, replaced the door sill, new speakers, new props for the trunk, a new radio, a new tray in the back, and a new cover for the clock.

Hey, although your miles are 148,XXX you still can get many more miles out of it. As long as you take care of it with maintenance and such it'll be a great car for you. Congrats and getting a 3g im looking forward to how it looks when you add some mods to it!
