Went to the dyno today, cause "homos" like hollywood didn't believe my numbers. So i had to document it I guess..
The motor is capable of handling more boost, but I was having problems with the Boost control on the aem. I'm thinking of going back to MBC, cause ebc can do funky stuff.

so here are the corrected numbers:
326.69 whp and 339.70 wtq (just shy of 340 doh!)

This was me running 14-15 psi of boost with a 3" Full mandrel back exhaust (this was the best mod i've done to this car I gained almost 25-30whp from it)

The bang you hear in the end is a backfire, which is normal ;p because the deceleration fuel cut off has a little delay if rev limiter engages (which i think it did)

I guarantee this motor can handle 350whp easily. You must realize that my car is daily driven and I run this boost every day, and have been running it for the last 45,000 km. The motor is running great after fixing a few venting problems.

the 293 whp and 312wtq you see in the initial run are numbers at 11-12psi of boost.

so roughly gained 33whp for 2 psi of boost ;p This run was made for Napalm by request.

Congratulations! Those numbers are simply amazing for a stock engine and I hope the v6 guys see this thread. It really looks like that exhaust did wonders for you in terms of making more efficient HP. So its 3in “catback” but you downpipe is 2.5” correct?

wow...those are awesome numbers.

Hey were is the video of you tearing down the motor to prove its stock?

I dont believe you :fawk:
Neither do I ya damn Paki Liar !!! :fawk:

JK man.... Nice run.

For a second, I thought you might have broke something when it backfired, but I guess I wasn't crossing my fingers :rant2:

It's nice to see someone finally posting up some numbers w/vid and dyno sheets instead of talking smack about their "butt dyno".

Way to go Paki.... now I want you to go to the track and get some ET's !!! :fawk:

lol dont worry himmad, we all are on irc, and i call 'em americans, and colombians :)

i'm running map, so it shouldnt backfire, but look at the log.. do you see the waveyness for the rpm in the end? thats the rev limiter kicking in.. and there is an option in the AEM to protect the motor from going too lean (and the deceleration fuel cut off from coming on too fast) so it delays the decel fuel cut off when there is 0 % throttle by about 200 ms.

otherwise it'd go 21.9:1 afr at some boost! scary =)

the blowby problem is fixed by keeping the stock pcv line and using a pcv valve for a boosted car (hollywood us using a bonneville one or something).. and if you are worried about oil getting into your intake, put a fuel filter in-line.

the breather valve should be vented using a filter or into a catch can. I was venting both to the atmosphere, and i was getting a little oil outta my breather. thought it was blowby, but i put the liunes in right, and i have had 0 oil now and no excessive blowby

Actually, it's from a Grand National, but yes... the stock PCV WILL pass blowby from the boost in the manifold over about 12-15 PSI or less. If you're running this much boost or more, and have your PCV valve (which you should) then you will want to get one that is intended for boost.

well definately does make the boost more efficient!

for me, the turbine outlet is 2.5" so i made a 2.5" downpipe.. cut a 45* angle.. put a 1.5" pipe in it for recirculation.. and where those 1.5" and 2.5" pipes meet.. it opens up to 3" all the way back

thanks, even though i have no problems with the stock one yet, i'm going to get one

since Napalm hasn't gotten his dynoed yet...i would have to say that xull has the most HP with a dyno to prove it.

thanks guys, when napalm's motor will be built and running, and same with BALLA, they will output some very high numbers
can't wait to build my own motor =)
