i think i'm your guy! i just got an 01 gt and the transmision went bad but luckily i got the aftermarket warranty when i bought the car...the warranty does not cover my clutch but the guy said i should change it since the labor will be paid for by the warranty alredy for what did go wrong, the guy told me i have about 10,000 miles left on the clutch so i am looking for a clutch and ASAP! what do you suggest i get..i was thinking just the stage 1 but is there anything else i would need? some tell me i need a new flywheel. my car is stock but maybe exhaust and intake later...nothing extreme. which is best clutch for daily driving, no race track racing or anything, maybe a little bit of weekend racing, but nothing major, V6 GT 2002. Don't want a Stage 5 if I only need a stage 3, which is best one?? Thanks!!

I would say stage 1 or stage 2 is good for daily driivng with the occasional racing/track... It depends on the modifications done to your car... I would lean toward stage 2 though if you have the extra cash...

Stage 1 from SPEC:
Types of Driving: Street, Drag, Drift, Road Race, Rallye, Pulling, Autocross

For bolt on naturally aspirated and mildly modified forced induction engines. Stock-like daily drivability and very good wear characteristics.

Stage 2 from SPEC:
Types of Driving: Street, Drag, Pulling, Autocross

For all mild to moderately modified naturally aspirated and power adder engines. (Also good for stock power levels and spririted driving when good daily drivability and extremely long life are the goal.) Stock-like daily drivability and EXCELLENT wear characteristics.

SPEC is quite a well known brand and Dan doesn't sell garbage so you'll be alrite. All clutch kits, no matter the brand AFAIK, come with clutch disc/pressure plate/throwout bearing/alignment tool.

Dan, i'll take one off your hands as soon as I finish my suspension setup. BUMP for you.
