He used his old Stealth RT turbos. This guy really has his stuff together. And the car had 187k on it!

It's not "done" yet......I found this a few months ago but didn't post cause' I thought it already had been.
One question though; the picture of his oil return line shows the line tapped into the line pretty low. Shouldn't it be above the oil level and then let gravity do the rest?
Definitely will be pretty cool though. He'll have something one of a kind :yesway:

A twin turbo setup will work on our cars, you just have to build the engine to handle it. It's simple as that, I personally don't really think they are all that conventional. Twin Turbo Supras purposely switch to a single turbo for more power... you all feeling me on this one?

Twin turbo would be nice just to have a good low end power on a daily driver, but you don't spend that kind of money for low end power.

Somebody (forget companies name) was R&D-ing a twin turbo set-up. I remember there was this whole issue because one of the turbo's had just a mesh screen across the inlet instead of a filter.:dunno:

I think that was API taking shortcuts. In order to properly do a twin turbo setup, you have to "Y" the pipe back from the MAS, somehow they were not doing this either.

To be fair, when I installed Ryu's SDS all the parts were there.
I've been on the phone with RIPP for the past couple days. Each time I was missing something. Granted I was able to procure the items locally, but when I paid 4K I expect it all to be there. I went to install the fuel injectors last night and realized the instructions were not there. Nuff said, I don't want to jack this thread w/ my probs

nope....two 9b's from the stealth...im pretty sure he said he put the 16g's on his stealth
I believe that's right. What I like is that this guy didn't just set out to build a twin turbo at all costs. We all know it could be done more economically with a single. He happend to have many of the parts laying around and decided to do something with it, even making custom manifolds from the stock header.

I don't get the feeling he is anywhere near the price range of a API twin turbo.

Yeah the oil line looks too low and draining up hill. I also wonder if he left enough room for the passenger side axle.
