Thats my best guess as well... im almost 100% sure no sporty has gotten into the 12's yet.

 

The fastest Sporty I ever remember was one on Nitrous that ran low 13s if I can remember correctly. But then again I'm a little fuzzy on that. We may not know for sure since there are a lot of Sporty SDSs that don't report what they do on this board either.

Second thought, I am almost sure there is a 12 second SDS Sporty, Augimatic I think his name was, but don't quote me on that.

LOL - for now, you could probably claim fastest sporty GT in FL. I'd say if you're in the low 13's, high 12's - you're probably the fastest sporty GT in the area. If you hit low to mid 12's - you're likely the fastest sporty GT in all the land.

At the moment i have zero tranny mods. Im going back to the track on friday and most likely since i already have the crank pulley ill probobly throw that on as well before we tune it.

Anything is possible. Ive just never seen nor heard of anything of the sort. Plus there arent even any listings for valves or valve springs for the 6g72. It just doesnt seem like a practical platform for pro drag to me.

If they went to that length im sure they would use a different tranny. At that point is it really still concidered a 3g?

Although, I have not been to the track lately and I'm already ripping the tires off of my car no matter what kind of concrete/asphault I am on since I put the FMIC on. Although, I would prefer to recirc my wastegate before I go back to the track though.

Until i see proof weather it be on this board or somewhere else im going to assume the fastest sporty is in 13 land. You should still run your car on friday at bradenton Russ. Recirculating the wastegate wont make a difference in 1/4 mile time or reliability.
