yeah that'd be awesome if you could just take a pic and point in the general spot where its at... i just dont see any wires that would lead to an ECU...

 

Its just under/behind the glove box you do noty have to remove glove box just pull carpet back and there is 1 bolt holding it in and you have to take out the air duct thing also.

And to make it even worse, my carpet has been out of the car and in the spare bedroom for about a year... so it should be in total plain sight lol :lol: maybe i should scrap the turbo project... next i wont me able to find the motor. :uh:

found it but now it seems like the whole heating/cooling system is right in front of it...
did you guys take that out to get to the ecu?

 

Read the comments above. There is a SINGLE bolt, remove the bolt, pull the ECU to the right. Alternate - just unplug the harness(es) and do whatever you need to do.

If you can't FIND a way to access the ECU, odds are, you should probably leave it alone and not try whatever you were planning to do.

the blower motor is in front of the ecu in stock from

 

Ok so in the red circle is the one bolt you have to undo then pull out the ecu cables (or whatever you wana call em) At this point you should be able to see all this without removing dash, with help of a flashlight ofcourse. so once you unscrew the bolt in the pink circle wich really just helps you pull back the carpet so you can get to the other bolt. unscrew the red circle bolt, pull pins out and pull on the ecu, it takes a lil mmphhh so no your not breaking anything. Then tada ther it is........

thanks to the both of you i had found the ecu when i was on lunch but hadnt had any time left to figure how to get to it. so i figured id post the question.
