I'm been searching for wide body kits for my 05 eclipse and the only ones that shows on the net are:

INVADER 2 & TORQUE, does anyone know if theres any other kits besides those. I been told you can fit some of the 350z kits on eclipse but it cost alot ever since its a custom job.

Invader2 & Torque have widebody variants???

well you can fit any kit on any car if your shop is willing to do the fab work to make it fit. If you are wanting to do a widebody though, a cheap price shouldn't be your number one goal...it's going to be expensive, and you need to understand that. On top of whatever kit you go with and the work involved to make it fit, you will have to get an appropriate wheel setup that will fill the wider wheel wells. At this point you are in for probably $5000+ if you are doing it right.

Anyway I know that Qwhees?QEI?Scorcher has a widebody kit also; I think it's ugly as hell and I don't even know if they are still in business, but it's out there.

Personally I think you would be best off getting the ShineStreet with the fender flares...it's not really any cheaper and it still requires a lot of work because the parts aren't the best-fitting, but it looks much better than the others IMO.

I agree.

Also, I notice you're in MD. Anyhow, I do own/operate SCC in Fairfax, VA. If you're looking for cheap work to just get it done, I will tell you honestly I will not be your answer. However, if you're willing to set aside a realistic budget and you want the work done correctly, feel free to contact me at sales@sc-customs.com.

If you just want something bolted up, modified slightly to fit, prepped, painted, etc.. it will cost much less than molding an entire widebody setup.

Since you are regional, you may wanna check out www.mitsuoama.com and join the other locals. They are planning a cookout/meet on Oct 27.

Somehow money don't matter, if you're looking for quality work of course its gonna cost a lot. But at least your car will be off the hook, just imagine a widebody kit sorta like the 350z Veilside V.3 that would looks just great to show off at the H.I.N or any other car show...

Just in case someone know of any other widebody kits for Eclipses let me know...

If you want a full custom widebody job, it'll take me about a month of work and it will run close to 10k. If you're interested, contact me. We can come up with a composite draft of what we're willing to do and 50% payment will be required upfront, and the remaining balance at completion of project.

There is only 1 bolt on widebody kit available for this car and it looks like complete garbage. So, to do something that looks good would be completely custom.

??Wings West and Street shine (or Sniper) are wide body kits. They overlay the stock bodykit but add flares\air damns\and some girth....yes it does make your car wider. You do have to get it molded to your car for it to look off the hook. (im selling some sniper wide body kit parts)

:scratch::scratch::scratch::scratch::scratch:

The Wings West kit is in no way a wide body kit.

The flares on the Shine Street (it is Shine Street, not Street Shine; and the Sniper is the knock-off of the Shine Street kit) are barely wider than the body of the car; I recommended to the OP to go that route, but it's not really a widebody in the usual sense of that term. Still, I do think it is much more tasteful than any other widebody kit I've seen for the Eclipse, and I guess if you get down to the nitty gritty it counts as a widebody.

sorry bout the typo....working back to back inbetween shifts checking the boards.... i personally like the shine street or sniper kit.... the three kits i listed before are just lip kits. the front lip and the rear lip attach to the bottom ridge of the oem bumpers and it sticks out a extra 2-3 inches. the fender flares widen the fenders at the opening by the tires by 1-2 inches.....the side skirts completly cover the oem sideskirts with a air damb cutout. you can find pictures of the full kit that might get you a better understanding. You can also get the shine street in carbonfiber too. (sorry if i made more typos hope this helped)
