I'm bored, GF is outta town so I'm on Club3g tonight....So i figured you guys can have a laugh at my story....
Bought my car almost a year ago and we have put together quite a history together.....
It's a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT
bought for $3,800
originally had 94,000 miles....now i got 97,000
the car had horribly warped rotors and a stuck caliper and had to get that fixed ASAP
What a hell of 3,000 miles this car has seen!
I'll admit i'm a teenager and drive it .....well pretty bad, but not too bad. I'm the kind of guy who'll drive 45-50 CRUISING ...
First few months driving i thought i was HOT SH|T.....bad thing
Was driving fast and couldn't catch my brakes....so i hit a curb
Took a good 5inches maybe off the curb
Not too bad
Reusable?:lmfao:
That was soo much fun than it was scary (EMPTY-ish road w/ turn), my friend was with me in the car when we accidently hit the curb....he never drove with me again....LOL
The car has given me transmission troubles from the start on top of the damage, it skips, hesitates, jolts, but overall runs good....i've fixed a lot of blown mounts on the car that were causing most of the jolts, here they are:
They fell out like that... after i repaired those mounts the jolts went away but the trans hesitation continued
The car has overall been good to me, i can't complain. Turns on every morning, drives okay.Rain/SNOW/Shine
The ride quality sucks (feels like i'm dragging my a$$ over bumps in the road, on smooth road no prob). One thing i hate is its FWD, turning sucks, no fun, just...no, ever since i drove a Dodge Dakota Quad Cab for a week when i was repairing mounts i fell in love with the RWD:drool:
My car gets me around, its called by others....the RED RICE ROCKET, SPEED RACER, THE P.O.S <---- that's mine lol
I can't complain though, it gets me around, i snuck out of the house to see my gf numerous times in this car:wub:, ever since the accident its been very well treated, i love it, i hate it
Love:
Here's my p.o.s, 97k miles running stronger than what i got it.....and BONE STOCK
