good chance your amp is the culprit then (it is the thing that makes the speakers.. make any noise). do you have access to a friend's amp? it is a quick easy swap to try his out in your car, and yours out in his, to see if the sound follows the amp.

well justin id be more specific, when we did it, i was unaware the battery wasnt disconected, until i saw a spark shoot out from the cluster. the cluster works fine, but the sunroof doesn't shut, clock pod doesnt light up, radio doesnt work but i know theres power to it (can hear the speakers turn on when you hit the power button), the rear view mirrow lights dont turn on, car doesn't chime with key in, and everything loses power ones key is out of the ignition (ie, no power locks, lights wont flash/ turn on, etc). i checked all the fuses and they all check out
hate to bring back an old thread guys, but rather this than start a new one. I have been experiencing the same problem which i only found out when winter came. What i am saying is that I experience this problem when it gets cold outside. Say during the fall season, it will freeze up closer to midnight when it is cold and comes back to normal around 10am to noon, when it gets a bit warmer. In the wintertime it will stay 'frozen' most of the season, comes back to normal some hours of the day. 'Frozen' as in sunroof, stereo, clock pod dont work. I find it very interesting that i dont experience this in the summer at all, which is why im saying it is sensitive to temperature.
I have not done any electrical work to it besides replacing the stock amp under the seat when i bought the car because stereo was not working. Turned out the old amp was fried due to water leaking to the passenger side floor(which i have fixed) which i beleive would be what caused this problem in first place.

Another thing is that my turn signals, wipers, and lights would randomly either work, or not, when turning on the ignition. If they dont work, I turn off then back on, and when they work, (usually 1,2,3 tries) then i start it up. and they work all along until i shut off the engine and until next time I put the key in the ignition. I am yet to find the root of this problem. I tried to describe as best as possible, Looking for your guys' help, those who know what is up with this, help is apreciated

ive got the same problem the sunroof dosent work but it is shut and radio when i whana turn it on it just make a pop noise from speakers and dome lights do not work i have checked all the fuses with test light and they are all good
