Coming Soon
3.8L Mivec all motor, 300WHP Goal.

Eh, those 5 spoke aftermarket wheels are OK, just undersized, looks wise.

Wheels are such a compromise between looking good, and driving good. IIWY, I'd keep those gorgeous stockers on there with sticky tires, and get some new 18s or 19s with cheap tires for show and then just swap em out depending on what your plans are for a given week/month or whatever. Track, enthusiastic driving... stockers... Night out, show, photo shoot... Sexy show wheels with cheap ass sunny tires or whatever.

300whp is going to take a lil more then an engine swap. This will be interesting to watch though, what exactly is the plan for running MIVEC?

Probably... Evo guys get 30 or so wHP from the Mivec tune. He has extra displacement and more cylinders so maybe he gets a little more...

That said, I would just add the blower and be done with it.

Evos are boosted... that does MUCH more then naturally aspirated when it comes to differences between factory and performance tunes for these cars. IHE on the mivec 75 with a full dyno tune nets you something like 280-290whp on a dyno jet as illistrated by a number of people on club4g. Some port work however, a throttle body bore job, or heck go all out and build the sucker you're looking at closer to the goal.

A set of cams from RPW would make 300 pretty effortless though. With an unreal bottom end I should add.

If this was possible, I would be using the motor. It's sitting at 14k miles in immaculate condition. The issue here is the dizzy would be on bank 2 which would not give clearance to the blower, unless the shaft was rotated to aim the blowers mounting bracket downwards, away from the cylinder head.

gonna be awesome! What say doing it in a weekend like mine? Lol definitely gonna take a little longer
The swap itself, not necessarily. Everything can be prepared in advance prior to the swap. Just like for your swap, everything was pull and go, with a final trip to the exhaust shop when things are tightened up. I'm waiting for the day I get a call from you when you are ready to ditch the 3.5L. But don't let me tour too far away from the main subject of the topic. This here is for Shauns progress with his swap. Very much deserved. :yesway:

Maybe go with a turbo set up. Btw, my car will be back up thurs. will have an answer for you and Silvertune then.

Well the entire tune is worth around 70-80whp on an Evo x. Wish our cars had the mivec in the normal 3L v6. Would be helpful once boosted.
