Hello I was wondering which brakes I should get, the ideal brakes would be brembo, but they are so expensive! Are there any brakes that are a ton cheaper that will do basically the same thing? what kind of brakes are you using, I'll research them and see if I can tell a difference!

The stock ones for now. If you bought that RS, it has 15" wheels, here is another member's 17s with Brembos and they fill that gap:

You also need to convert your rears to stock disc brakes to prepare them for bigger brakes as it should have drums right now. The junkyard can supply donor brakes from a GT for a good price which gets you the parts you'll need when you do upgrade to bigger brakes. And look into bigger wheels. I hate how small those RS 15s are personally, it leaves a big gap in the wheel well, and I don't know if big brakes will fit.

For the rear you can pull directly from a GT/S and it will bolt on with very little work.
This gives you the mounting hardware for a future upgrade to something more expensive.

The stuff you take from the junker are: Backing Plate, Caliper, maybe the Piston, Bolts.
The stuff you buy new: Hoses, pads, slides, seals, boots, rotors.

18 is the safest bet but it really ends up coming down to backspacing and wheel design, I would bet 95% of 17" wheels wouldn't work. OP, IMO the 4cyl doesn't make enough power to warrant the extra weight, unless you plan on boosting or tracking. I autocrossed my 3g for about 2 years and the dual pistons are plenty to lock up the brakes without being too touchy.

Tip and trick for anyone, if you want to know which 17" wheels will clear Brembos see if they fit a 2005+ EVO. For me personally while I like the look of 18"s on the 3G, I decided to go back and have been happy with the performance I get out of 17"s on the car.
