What are you looking to accent? Interior or Exterior? Seat color? dash color? dash light color? door trim color? And what colors did you have in mind in the first place that you are torn between???

 

I haven't decided yet. I am only going with one color. So my question is... If YOU had a black car w/ black leather and black rims, what other color would you use for things such as... break calipers or engine accents, ground effects lighting or what ever else.

 

i've always been a sucker for either blue or silver.

 

From how I hear it, you are trying to make your car stand out. If I were in your situation, I would paint the calipers red, and keep that same red throughout some of the interior panels (such as the door trim, center counsle, etc). If you really have some time, I would also keep some of that red throughout the engine, whether it be hoses, or painting components inside. Stick with one color, in my opinion. You really cannot go wrong- I would just stay consistent with the color you choose.

 

Thank you, I was leaning toward red with everything but was unsure how red ground effects would look under a black car.

I happen to like silver or red. Sometimes any other colors with that could look a little to ricey to me. Than again it's also depends how your doing it. Black and silver is definitly one of the best ways to go IMO.

If I were you and wanted to be different go with bronze or something similar.

I have a black car, darkk black tint, black wheels, and went with a blue theme, by painting the calipers blue, getting blue led's inside, and blue pillar gauges. i think it looks great, as long as you keep it subtle, dont start painting interior panels unless you're having them done professionally.

 

Just some ideas from my ride. And like Steve said, don't do the underbody lights.

Interior

 

use red. black rims and red calipers are my favorite. I think red goes with black the best imo.

 

i have a exterior red accent and a interior blue(gauges and such)

 

i always liked black with green although black with red sounds cool too...just a suggestion tho

 

accent colors

I have a black 01 spyder with black konig hot swap rims. the inserts on my rims are silver and look sweet against the black. I love the look of black, red and some silver.

Dont have pictures but i also have the blue led conversion and blue led's under the dash

 

I have a black car, and im also doing the black on black. I think im going to go with Black/Silver/Blue theme. I think im going with either black or blue calipers...(leaning towards black with blue letters or silver letters) I have the blue led swap and led bars under dash. And ill prob paint the plastic around the window buttons/door handle/shifter silver. What ever you decide to do keep us updated.
