Hello all, this month we decided to have the mounthly meet at the shop and have a DYNO DAY!

Here is the info:

Dyno Day
3SX Performance
2/16/08
9am - close

3SX Performance Automotive - Mitsubishi 3000GT & Dodge Stealth Performance Specialists - Parts + Service

Runs will be $50 for 3 pulls with wideband.

We will be serving hotdogs ($1), BBQ sandwhiches ($3), and sodas ($0.50) from noon to 2pm.

This should be a big event as we are inviting many different platforms. Come out and have some fun, hang out, talk smack to the EVO's  Should be a good time. Post up if you plan on coming and please feel free to ask any questions.

Oh, and check out the 400HP 3G :bigthumb:

Post up if you plan on coming and please feel free to ask any questions.
1) Anyone there able to tune with anything from this combo?
-Zeitronix ZT2(wideband + EGT)
-EvoScan 2.0
-ECU Flash (if you do tunes via this then that would be HUGE plus for you as far as 3Gs and others go)
-Mitsulogger

2) Will the 3SX tranny guru be onsite?

3) Possible to have any small/er installs done while @ the meet? (FPR and/or pump, compression test)

4) What type of dyno?

5) Does 3SX have any experience doing ECU swaps in 3Gs? How about for Fed-spec 3Gs? (IMO, that would be better for GTPlaya)

6) Behaved dogs allowed?

7) Beer? (I've yet to make it to any meet so I really have no idea what to expect...

I'm REALLY hoping to make this one but I'm not sure if the date will work for me, yet :( I just got some SES issues worked out (I think, will know soon) and a nice 3hr drive over to Concord would be :cool2:. In addition I REALLY need a dyno run... I'm inches away from going FI and need a baseline pull before I get started!

Hello. I'm sorry, there will not be any tuning available during the dyno day. Trying to tune during a dyno day is a bad thing for all parties. If you run on dyno day and want to schedule a tune within two weeks, we can put the $50 credit toward your tune.

We tune with ECU flash.

2) Will the 3SX tranny guru be onsite? - yes

3) Possible to have any small/er installs done while @ the meet? (FPR and/or pump, compression test) - no

4) What type of dyno? Superflow Superflow | Dynamometers | Chassis | Introduction

5) Does 3SX have any experience doing ECU swaps in 3Gs? How about for Fed-spec 3Gs? (IMO, that would be better for GTPlaya) - I don't recall doing an ECU swap in a 3G. We have done many of them in 3S's.

6) Behaved dogs allowed? - Sure, love dogs.

7) Beer? (I've yet to make it to any meet so I really have no idea what to expect... - Probably not a good idea. I gotta stay sober :)

Everthing sounds good! One more question though... Is it possible to schedule a time for your own dyno run? I mean I would hate to drive 3 hours there, expecting to find out my HP/TQ, just to find the line for the dyno was around the block and that it was done on a 1st come 1st served basis. If it was possible to get locked into a block (like definately between 12-1pm or something like that) then I would feel much more comfortable. I understand if you are not able to do that though...

FWIW, I appear to be SES-free and as of now my wife and I intend to make this meet. :yesway:

If you show up to dyno, you will dyno. Even if it means staying open until sunday morning :)

Tuning prices are dependant upon mod levels. Generally you are looking at around $300.

I really wish I could make it...a dyno run would be sweet...but the wife and I are supposed to go for a late valentines plane ride over Charleston that day. If all goes well I'll be able to make it up there for the March meet if you still plan on having them once a month...
