Do you have power to the accessories?
If not, it may be an ignition switch problem.
Otherwise most likely wiring.

 

Yes I have power to everything else. I’m hoping it isn’t wiring but it’s looking like it is since nothing else seems to be faulty

 

You don't actually get pressure in the line unless you turn the ignition all the way to START. The pump doesn't come on with the ignition turned to ON, like some other cars.

You can narrow down the problem by using a jumper from the battery to the relay socket, to provide power directly to the pump. It's an actual Mitsubishi procedure. Then you'll know if the fault is with the power circuitry, or the control circuitry. With my car in the garage, I can clearly hear the pump when I'm standing at the front of the car. Note that in the Mitsu schematic, the top of the connector appears to be "up". In reality, the top of the connector is on the passenger side of the socket. So terminal two is the rear pin on the passenger side.

 

I did turn the ignition to START, no sounds however from the pump. I will try this out and get back to y’all.

 

When I turn the ignition to START it makes the starter turn, and that's too much noise to hear the pump running.

 

Did you replace the fuel pump relay inside the vehicle by the driver's door? Make sure the vehicle will turn over and then check the fuel pump wires for power and a good ground. There is a starter switch or (ignition switch) and ignition solenoid within the steering column.

 

Hey guys just bought a 00 eclipse GS 2.4 100k miles. Completely stock. Having the same issues. No codes popping up. I can hear the fuel pump prime and it starts but then after 30sec. It dies. Ideas!?!?

 

Is their spark to the sparkplugs? The crankshaft sensor controls the starting and spark control when starting the vehicle. Turn the vehicle to start mode and let it set for two minutes to see if there are any pending codes and check the battery for full charge.
