seems like an odd place to watch something. And think about it, how often do you look at that place?, unless you want your rear passengers to keep looking sideways. Headrest screen facing the passengers would be more sensible IMO.

If you are planning to do a lot of shows, then yes that would be good. But if you dont, why waste money. I dont even use the back seat, I let everyone know the car is a 2 seater.

Also west coast is doing a 99 Eclipse GS tonight, be sure to watch that.

also what are you using to control them? where did you mount the rest of your A/v system?

 

i have the pioneer avh6400cd flip up monitor in front and the new slim ps2 in the glove box and everything is controlled by a 200 watt power inverter in the center console

 

That is like putting them in the plastic in the back of the front seats. There is a ton of room in those and I know that you can easily fit a t.v. in there..........why don't people use that?

1. You would have to mount it in such a way as to make it be able to slide out for a good viewing angle. If not, just like putting them in the sides, you would make it impossible to view without neck strain.

2. How many full size people can fit in the back of the 3g? If you are going to have your kids back there and ask them to look to the sides to see a movie, they will be squirming all over the palce and taking off their seatbelts, crying about stiff necks. :ugh:
