This past Friday (3/11/05) I was going about 60 mph around a corner and my back tires slipped on black ice which spun me into a 180 sending me into the curb at about 45-50 mph. My tires bend inward totally destroying my front and rear suspension carraige, front disc brake, rear drum cracked into the rim, struts ripped from the body, as well as many numerous other things. Their was only one dent in the body and nobody was hurt and luckly I didn't hit anyone else. The reason I am posting this in the FI forum is because the repair quote I received from the mechanic was for $2,500 (thats just from what he could see...price includes labor). I have a complete boxed up ready to go 11psi turbo kit (was NEVER used before) that I cannot afford and was wondering if anyone was interested. Posting it in the for/sale thread is hopeless as people post about 10-12 new pieces a day and hide the thread too quickly. Everyone who reads the FI thread is obviously interested in going with either a supercharger or turbo...so my chances are greater. I am asking $4,600. Check my links for any info or PM/email me with any questions. I have been a loyal member of the 3G sites for quite a while and would appriciate the help. Thanks

I was worried about getting the higher rates, so I didn't want to report it, but after the $4,252...I really have to. I have a $1,000 deductible though and I don't make enough at work to cover this over a short period of time. College is time consuming and I don't have enough time for another job. My only big source of money that I could get is from selling this kit. Trust me....it really sucks not being able to keep it after starting the project in April of last year.

Got my quote of the total damages due to the wreck...$4,252!!!

:steph: again!! Please someone help me out and buy this kit. I'm not trying to sound desperate, but I have no other option right now. There is NOTHING wrong with the kit, and I'll give a 100% money back gaurentee if there is.

Remember, this kit is completely bolt-on, and will bring any 3G the 300hp or more it deserves. :twothumb:
the 4cyl, right?

Thats just it....This kit is awesome and there is nothing I want more then to install it, but unforseen circumstances have prevented me from getting it done. I actually have not recieved one single offer for this kit. $4,600 is not that high for the quality of the product. The AAI kit has had ZERO complaints since its release due to quality. Donny has pretty much added his personal touch to this kit and in a manner of speaking has "blessed" it. :fever: I know there is at least 2-3 people who want to go turbo, but are afraid of spending that much money. :ugh: I talked to my brother -in-law yesterday and he will be putting it up on eBay on saturday. I hope that attention will bring it better justice. If you are thinking about getting a turbo and are unsure.....please PM me and I will talk to you on the phone to answer any questions you have. There is also no waiting to get it!!! What could be better then that? You could be turbo'ed in less then a week (depending on how fast you want it). I'll even ship it overnight if needed. Remember, this kit is completely bolt-on, and will bring any 3G the 300hp or more it deserves. :twothumb:

I'm sorry for the confusion but I am only selling the turbo kit. The car isn't getting totaled out. I just need to sell the kit to flip the bill for the repairs. I'm still thinking about selling the eclipse after the repairs, but I'm not sure just yet. I love the car, but the way I drive...it's a money pit. Also, does anyone know of a better way to mount a 5" tach to the dashboard on the left side of the factory gauges? When I hit the curb it ripped the screws out and it's now hanging by the wires. Any industrial glue or something?? Thanks and sorry for the confusion!!
