Order all four in Firm hardness from Deyeme Racing. Its about $320 shipped I belive. I have them and love them. Killed most of my wheel hop but I still have some due to the stock suspension.

 

I have the ripp front urethane and KYB AGX/TIEN set up, and that helped ALOT!

 

OK,But is that the only way I will question but dont get upset I want to do this as cheap as possiable reason is I will have a Full TEIN Super Street Dampeners When I get back.

lol, i still have the pix of when my front mount gave out, rocking the engine so bad, the back one busted, leading to a horrible axle angle rendering my CV joint broke... THX wheelhop!

yes front and if you can the rear. sides are nice but imo not necessary, unless your running maybe FI

 

The accessory side motor mount is notorious for going out. The fron tone is the biggest help in stopping wheel hop. The RIPP one is an insert that you have to have pressed in buy a shop with a hydraulic press. The Deyeme ones come in the mounts already so its just a matter of swapping them in.

Gt you are like a fly that will never go away lol.Just joking I will talk to you when ever you show up and no I wont buy your exhaust.So I see I need a min of the front and that will greatly reduce wheel hop.Rear if I have the cash and sides if I want to go FI or when I do go FI am I getting this correct?

Thats more of a personal preferance thing. I have all 4 firm and feel no more vibration that stock. Some have said that with the firm sides it was unbearable to them.

 

i bought a firm front and rear, i never even put the rear in. Didnt need it. The front one lets me launch perfectly. Also i have no vibrations what so ever.

 

Ok so I will just get the front and if I need the rest I will add as I go from there then.

 

If you leave some of the mounts stock and replace only one or two with firm, the stock ones will take on more vibration, and may wear out sooner.

 

I replaced all of mine. I just took my car to the dealership and a specialty performance shop. Both told me these urathane mounts are junk and I should have stuck with stock ones. Just putting it out there for what its worth. I personally thought they were an improvment

 

i have a set of front and rear motor mount inserts...made by energy suspension that are still new in the box if your interested...

They just need to be pressed into your stock mounts

I agree, just reporting what they said. I guess from their point of view they put more stress on other internal tranny parts. if that energy isnt getting sucked up by the smooshy stock bushings, its going somewhere else.

btw, the cheapest route would be buying just the front...and it so happens that I have a deyeme front motormount that is going to be up for sale in a couple days..as soon as i get a hold of a damn oem one.

I put in the front and rear and the car had horrible vibrations. I then put the back to stock and now just have the front mount and i have no wheel hopp any more. I would say just front unless you start putting down a lot of power (FI). But some people dont have any problems with the vibration, so its hard to say.
