Got a new car today! I've been looking for a pretty long time and finally found something that I liked and that I could have some fun with. I went with a 2009 Nissan Xterra S. I still have my Eclipse too so don't worry, I dind't trade the Eclipse for the Xterra. What do you guys think? These are cell phone pictures, I'll get better ones tomorrow!

First Time Towing with the New Car...

Edit:

Got a Nismo Cold Air Intake and a Nismo Cat-Back Exhaust Installed on the Truck. They both sound great and look great and now the truck has a whole new feel to it. Here are two sound clips I made....

The back is the only part I'm unsure of, but I still really like the car! I think the first two mods will be a CAI and an Exhaust...then some bigger tires and maybe a lift...its gonna be my daily driver so I don't wanna go crazy with it, ust need it to tow the Honda's and to drive on the beach...

I really like the XTerras, at least how they look. I drove an 07 when I was shopping for an SUV last year, but it was just too rough and truck-like for what I was looking for--and really, way too small (ended up buying a Navigator). But I think they look badass, especially the brand new ones. Nice purchase!

Thanks for the comments guys. I am going to be doing a Nismo Cat-Back Exhaust and a Nismo CAI in a few weeks. What do you think about a Non-Functional Hood Scoop on the Truck? I think it will give it a meaner look, but I'm still undecided about it. Here is a picture I found of a Hood Scoop on an 08, I like the way it looks.

Honestly, I think it's tacky. I had a friend that has a first generation supercharged Xterra backed by a 5 speed stick. That thing had some grunt behind it.

Its complete rice to most of us sorry! That's our honest opinion, but if you like it, no one is stopping you. It's your car, your money, and your choice

I would get a nice looking set of wheels and tires for it and call it a day :yesway:

awesome choice! i love the xterra! i drove my father in laws for a couple months and was so sad when he let it go. i was an older model with a 4-pot and a five speed manual! so fun!

what transmission did you get it with?

id say nix the hood scoop idea and get some wheels and tires. and maybe color match the plastic pieces on the front and back...

It's an auto, didn't want stick shift for a truck...

I've thought about color matching the plastics but I kinda like the way it looks with the plastic the way it is. I can't find any good sites to get some cool wheels and tires for it either...
