i took the high pressure fuel line off. does anyone know where i can find a t fitting? i check the local autozone and advanced auto but they don't carry it.

 

hit up OSH and use pipe an barb fittings. Seal the threads of course. If the pressures the same as fuel or oil thats what i did. Theres Pipe Ts an stuff usually.

OS = Orchard Supply Hardware out here. ACE hardwares got the same pipe fittings too.

 

I checked ace hardeware today but they weren't much help

i did. no one around here has anything that even comes close. to the people that have or had nitrous on their car. how did you go about tapping the fuel line?

 

You need to buy one specifically for the 4an line that connects to the high pressure fuel solenoid. The kit should have come with the T but I assume you bought it used. Go to your closest performance shop and they'll sell you a summit or a jegs T. Either that or call Summit racing or Jegs yourself and have one shipped to you. They're cheap. The reason I say go to the performance shop is because they can look at the feed line and give you the correct parts.

Do you guys want a how-to on a nitrous install? If you want I'll do a hardware how-to, I assume you all know how to connect wires

As to the OP, you can find a fitting online at any nitrous dealer or supplier.

What I did was buy a barbed "t" fitting and spliced into the HP fuel line and then ran another line off the third side with a barbed fitting screwing into the nitrous solenoid. Sorry if this sounds jumbled if you want I can search for pictures to help out. Also if you want I drew up a diagram of what I am talking about. As I am in Iraq right now ti wont let me upload it. If you want I can email it to you though if you want.

I'm sorry! I promise I'll do this asap. I blew apart my intake manifold again and I have finals this week AND my dyno appt on friday. I somehow need to swap manifolds, work full time, take all my finals, and get to the dyno. wtf
