Took these at Lena Point yesterday, since we had such a beautiful day. Enjoy!

Oooh, I like that last one, how the beach line curls around to the trees, some mountains for depth. In other words it's pretty.

Waiting for the weather here to loosen up, seems like we've had a few weeks of gray crap, not really snow on the gorund, not really melted either. Just monochromatic ugliness.

Thanks! I love that last one too, just too bad it's rather soft when viewed at larger sizes :( All I had with me was the body and 18-70 Nikkor, no tripod! Oh well, I'll definitely be getting back out there with my full bag soon :D

Jason, the third one is most interesting to me. I dig it. It has a nice feel of depth to it with all the layers. Friendly word of advice, however? Lose the buttonizing. It's distracting, and very "It's 1995, and I found this new program called Photoshop". Where in Alaska are you at? I've been to Ketchikan for work once. I can't wait to go there for pleasure with about 12 of my cameras.

Thanks for the suggestions. Thought I'd try something different over lunch with the frames  :D I'm in Juneau. You went to Ketchikan for work? Damn, thought there was nothing but bars and rain there

My last job had three customers in Alaska. It was a software company that wrote and implemented billing systems for phone, internet and cable companies. We marketed to small to medium sized telcos. Somehow, we managed to have Ketchikan Public Utilities, Matanuska Telephone, and someone else near Anchorage. Kind of a pain when you work in NY. Ketchikan was nice. The scenery was beautiful. The week I was there was actually sunny and 75. They hadn't been getting much rain, which was weird. Not a whole lot to do, however. I went to a party with a few people from the phone company, all 40 years old or so. I felt like I was at a frat party. It's true what they say about small towns... Nothing to do but drink and f*@$
