Hi I have a question what kind of engine should I swapped my eclipse gts Spyder engine? it has 153K miles on it already and I am looking to change engine for a low milage one. Can anyone recommended me what engine I should swapped it with and where to find it please and thank you.

Im currently switching the v6 in my 03 GTS to a 6g75 3.8L v6 out of a 2006 mitsubishi eclipse GT if you decide to do this (its easiest to do imo) you have the mivec version and there are some without mivec if you get the one with mivec the mivec requires a couple additional parts such as the distributor adapter plate, and a mivec controller (easy to do with an RPM switch), and tuning. Both the 6G75 motors require the same parts to swap otherwise.

I have a rebuild to factory spec GTS engine I can sell you. I even have the receipt as proof a d you can see my thread on my former GTS restoration project that I had to shut down recently due to rust. PM if interested
