Rap: Lil Wayne - Milli
Country: Allison Kraus - When You Say Nothing (slow country but trust me, this shit will HURT with a box tuned to lower freq + it makes the country girls wet as all hell)
Pop/Rock: Allanis Morrisette (sp?): Thank You (one of the tracks on that album dropped hard. think i was TY)

For rap song, you can never go wrong with Top let back by TI

For rock, I love listening to Rise Against. Their drum lines are awesome and sound great with subs.

DJ Billy E - Beats for my Van

(disclaimer: I am not responsible for any of you blowing your subs with this song, it's intense)

-and almost all DJ Billy E songs are straight up Bass jams!

pretty much anything by david hasselhoff, or kenny g's old shit, before he sold out.

seriously though....lil wayne, slim thug, lil john, triple six mafia, eightball and mjg, rick ross, trick daddy, hell everybody in the south. i have blown two sets of subs with a song by slim thug but i cant remeber the damn name of it. i know its got TI, slim thug and bun b in it....

3 Kings?

lil wayne-la la
lil wayne-pop bottles
lil wayne-zoom (incredible)
xecutioners
dj khaled-I'm so hood
timbaland-elevator
snoop and dre-still d.r.e.
or any number of the bass tests I have.

my top 5 are
lil wayne- a millie
nelly- party people
T.I.-what you know
petey pablo- vibrate
lil jon- da blow

i also listen to see how clear the songs are with as much bass as possible. its kinda pointless to have all bass and you cant hear the rest of the song

Damn... I just played the preview clip with just my earbuds (Bose) and that bass was insane! Thanx man -- can't wait to play this on the stereo.

If you really want to test out your whole system (Including the subs) I would suggest the following.

  • Bach - Toccata and Fugue in D minor
  • Hans Zimmer - The Battle (From Gladiator)
  • James Horner - Charging For Wagner (From Glory)
  • Mark Mancina - Theme From Bad Boys (Not great, but I love blasting this one while driving)
  • Hans Zimmer - The Way Of The Sword (From The Last Samurai)
  • James Horner - Don't laugh at this one, but a number of the songs off the Titanic Soundtrack, (Hymn To The Sea comes to mind) have some stupid low bass in them.
  • James Horner - Freedom/The Execution/Bannockburn (From Braveheart, in particular the Bannockburn portion)
  • John Williams - Welcome To Jurassic Park
  • Graeme Revell - Love Theme Finale - (From The Saint)
  • John Williams - Imperial Attack (From, well, you should know this)
