Well I've been searching and cannot find anything on BC Coilovers, If someone wants to link me that'd be great.

So from what I've collected

Megans= Best bang for your buck, have dampening adjust-ability
Tein Basics = Trusted brand, no dampening adjust ability
BC Racing= ??????

Right now I'm leaning to megans, unless the BC racing coil overs can win me over.


Future mods need to be changed. Saving up the next few months to buy EVO OEM BBS SE Wheels will powdercoat them black, new tires, coilovers, and brembos at the same time

Getting the brembos first made no sense since they can't be used w/o new wheels, and who wants sexy wheels with a huge gap :ninja2:

That's how I found out about them , just wondering if anyone has owned them and written up a review of some sort. I know they are somewhat popular on evo's, no idea about 3gs.

 

You have a great start on the car. I think the blue calipers should go tho, i think silver would look great with your color.

Hey nice start...It reminds me of when I frist got mine when I was 15...Wish the first thing I did was to lower it...But, nice car cant wait to see it lowered!! It will give me and example of what mine will look like someday...More pics to!!

 

Look at what I got today.

They are already installed, but the car is covered in pollen and parents just came back with my camera a few hours ago, so I didn't take any pictures.

Strut bar should be here any day now, ordered some hood quicklifts today, and megan coilovers will be ordered on monday . After that it will be 2-3 weeks until I get the Evo BBS, and then the brembos :ninja2:​

I found a local that totaled his evo from the back and talked him down to 450$ for the head and turbo ( I plan on going FI later this summer ). Is that a good price? or should I pass.

 

I will be getting the head and turbo, and possibly an intercooler. Seems like the headswap and turbo are in gear . The megans will have to wait a week or two.

 

Well I went out tonight and took a few pics, but had problems because of the pollen. The pollen showed up on the pictures if I used the flash, so almost All the pictures are without flash.

Alright im picking everything up on Friday. Evo 8 head, stock evo 8 turbo, intercooler and ic piping for 575$ cash. EveryThing only has 35k miles. I guess the turbo setup will come sooner than I thought.

Lol, I bust my ass for this car. I work 40+ hours a week, for a sub contractor. 10$/ hr

I won't be going FI anytime soon. When I do it, I want to only do it once and correctly.
