pretty much, I run Potenzas RE910's for that reason (I know they don't make them anymore). Good dry traction, good wet traction. I've heard they weren't good in the snow, but I wouldn't know, it doesn't snow here.

professionals can run tires that are sweet in the rain (f1 guys) .. aren't there tires specifically made for rain?

the width of the tire can cause problems too. a wider tire can be more susceptable to this than a narrower one.

regardless, slow down.

they are specifically made for the rain

try the Toyo proxes 4. never hydropla... in the past with them and they handle REALLY good
