Some of you know, some don't, so I'll give you the short story:
I am one fo the managers at a Toyota dealership. My primary responsibility is with Scions right now. So, I have put together a little meet fo scion owners, but since I am running it, I'm inviting the 3G crowd also (simply because I can!) Here is what is going on:
Date: March 6th (I know, short notice, but we wanted to do it before the season ends)
Time: 4pm to 11pm
Where: Snowboarding - Wakeboarding - Snowboard Park - Wakeboarding School - Terrain Park - Raging Buffalo Snowboarding - Snowboard Park -Terrain Park - Algonquin, IL Click there for directions and pics of the place.
What: We are going to allow anyone, yes, anyone to stop by and have some fun. You don't need to have a scion. Your admission is free on one condition (and it's an easy one). What we need you to do is bring some type of food item. Top items needed: Hot cereal, Ramen noodles, Saltines, Jello, Paper towels, Hot chocolate (envelopes). Anything donated will benefit a local food drive, not my pantry. In reality, anything that won't spoil will work. One item is needed per entrance. Since this is going to charity, please don't bring a box of mac and cheese and stuff 18 people into your xB
More What: Along with your free admission, you get unlimited runs down their half pipe. You also get free rentals. You don't know how to snowboard? No problem, we have arranged it so a lesson is only 10 bucks for an hour. They accept all levels of experience. Of course, we have t-shirts and backpacks for showing up too. And finally, everyone that comes in gets a raffle ticket. You have the chance to win a $500 snowboard package... that's a new board, boots, and bindings.
So there you have it! Bring one of the items mentioned, and you get in free for a fun night. Weather doesn't matter as their run is good until at least april. Let me know if anyone is going to show up (as I have to give the park a total of what it is going to cost me. If you are a definite or a maybe, let me know either way. Keep in mind, there are going to be Scion owners there, so no beating each other up over who has the bigger girls car. :fawk:
And start the list:
