uhh dude relax, i was going to paypal you the money, try pm'ing me before you get all drastic and make a callout thread.

furthermore, i dont technically owe you anything because you took it upon youself to not get me a quote for the overnight shipping that you willingly payed for yourself. So i appreciate you trying to help me out and overnight that mount for me, but next time when its a stupidly high price for shipping, try verifying with the buyer to make sure they still want to pay it.

try pm's next time, they work great.

oh and yes, i am cheap, who the fuck isnt

heres a little back story to those who would like to know what krondor is whining about.
I broke a motor mount, so i made a wtb thread, he had 2 deyeme mounts for sale and posted them in my thread http://www.club3g.com/forum/automotive-sale-wanted/124631-wtb-motor-mount-asap.html. I responded saying i would purchase them, i asked if he could get me a quote on overnight shipping, and i provided my cell # and told him to txt me the quote, or pm me. He then pm'd me saying it would be $98. I paypal'd him the $98 like he had told me. Then he pm's me and says it cost more than he had expected and he had covered it assuming i would pay the difference. Well bud, i hate to break it to ya, but you gave me a price, i paid it. Its not my damn fault you diddnt verify the extra $30 you fronted.

so originally it was $85 shipped for standard shipping, i then requested a faster service and he told me it would be $98, then he found out it was more and payed the difference assuming it was alright with me, and now he is sad i haven't payed the difference yet.

Oh and i am a decent guy and i do appreciate you helping me out, and yes i was going to paypal you the money, you could have just pm'd me simply asking me about it.

Origonal price - 80
Outragous shipping you volunteered me for - 58.61
Total - 138.61

I payed 98, so 138.61 minus what i already paid
Total - 40.61

I just paypaled you your $40, had you waited until this friday you would have recieved it then. But here you go, consider youself lucky im a decent guy

1. Seller quotes buyer price for shipping.
2. Buyer pays shipping amount in full as quoted.
3. Seller ships part
4. Seller requests additional money from buyer for shipping.
5. Seller blames buyer for not paying enough.

This is just plain retarded.

Payment was made on May 21, 2009 17:36:33 MDT. Sean was clear that he needed to have the parts by Saturday so that Sunday's events wouldn't be missed.

We exchanged several PM's Thursday night after I got home from work trying to work out a way to get the parts there in time. The $18 was my best guess for next day shipping or at the very least 2 day shipping that would get the mounts to him by Saturday.

With payment I ran round town trying to ship the mounts out in time. Cheapest for the size package would have been USPS, but they were closed. The only shipper open by time all was said and done was UPS. I had two choices standing there at the shop with the UPS truck driver loading the last load of the night: Pay the overpriced shipping or leave Sean without parts until sometime the following week.

After our exchanges, I knew it was important to Sean that he get the parts in time. I paid the shipping to make sure the parts arrived in time: Delivered On: 05/22/2009 1:16 P.M.

You're completely missing the point.

As the seller, you assumed the risk when you agreed to get this shit to him before a certain date. In addition to that, you "estimated" the cost of shipping wrong. You CAN tell the buyer hoping they are very understanding of YOUR ERROR and send you additional money, but they are NOT obligated to do that.

Fact is, you provided a price, he paid, you shipped - later realizing shipping was much more than you anticipated. You simply fucked up - it's as simple as that. Starting a thread calling the buyer "Cheap" is warranted just as much as him starting a thread on you as being a "Bad Seller" - saying that you're asking for more money even though the transaction is completed.

Do you still not understand?
