i got first place! (in the novice class)

Image

woo, 5 more wins and i will have a complete set.
who said 3g spyder gs, auto's are slow? we can make the tires sing, and beat a scion xb, and 2005 mustang GT.

best part is, when i ran, it was raining, when they ran it was dry. during the "fun runs" afterwords (when it was also dry) but the mustang and i beat our previous times by 2.5 seconds, but i was STILL about .05 seconds faster than him.

the elise ate us alive, and the 2010 camaro wasn't too shabby either.... and ALL the civics were beating us by about 3 seconds on average... but i still beat all the other novices.... and i had a passenger!

Schweet, any pics of the event?
nope... i forgot about it. we were moving quick, in and out, go go go.

it was a nice tight track, that gave me an advantage.

sweet! he updated... and that is me!

that is the last race (at midstate airport) i sucked on that one. i am on page 2, 9, and 17.
also... i am the guy, 3rd down on the left on the first page (goatee and sunglasses). and in the center of the 2nd on the left pictures (black sweatshirt).

that silver indy car looking thing, is a subaru STI, the engine was put in the back, and that body was added. it had issues though.. it is not dialed in at all yet... but fracking awesome.

awesome! dude i just got back from an auto cross event myself! i didnt place cuz i was washing out on every corner.. but it was fun!! my 1st time too! I really never thought Auto cross would be this fun!!

well, i always knew it would be fun, but i never knew how to get in on it.... then i was over at a friend's house (showing off my new exhaust and dual piston calipers) and he asked why i needed them? i don't race...

that made do a google search, and fond out how easy it is to do.. and how much fun.

i searched google too! i looked up the event, what time i had to be there and showed up. And YES it is so easy to get in on them. Im signing up for the upcoming events here in houston. Its really fun!

....about your dual piston calipers... are they off of the 2000 models??

I wish there were AutoX events near me. Id like to try it out even tho i would probably suck at it :D
my times were terrible! (almost) everyone was making under 65seconds.. my best time was 73.29 :ninja2:

why yes they are. i got them scoobyGT. i love them, less fade makes scarr a happy breaker.

sounds like my first time (the link with the pics IS that first time) i was the slowest car on the track... i only did better than 2 people... they were off course EVERY run! but i still had a blast, and had to come back for more.. glad i did (this thread is about my second time at the track)
