Thirded.

I paid cash for the Z and the Wrangler, paid off the Navigator about two months ago too. It's a great feeling, and I am going to be hard-pressed to go back in to debt ever again. You have one of the best looking 2Gs I've ever seen, AFAIK it runs as well as it looks, and you own it outright...keep that 2G dude.

Thanks for the words. It does run well, mostly. There is something to be said for having a paid off car. I think I need to just treat it to a detailing so it "feels" new.
Or get a beater car  I've been driving a 91' Civic DX for the past three months. When I switched it out last weekend for the 3G, it felt wonderful  :lmfao: I even missed driving a manual in traffic

No payments here either. I'll never get a car payment again. Now I'm just working on this pesky mortgage.
I rent. :D I am considering building a home within the next year or two, but that's a discussion for another thread.

Do it! Or hell, buy a different set of wheels, or do something to change it up just a little.

Down here they just reassessed all the properties (the yearly county tax appraisals) and damn. I'm looking at houses that list at $500K and they are only appraised at $350K. :woot: once the sellers realize they are fucked and lower the price (because they have no choice if they want to sell the house) I'm all in.

On the car side....the GF just bought a MB C350. Right next to the one we test drove was a silver C63. :wackit: I'm in love. But sticker price was $74K. ummm, NO!

J - If the 2G still makes your ass crack happy then keep it. Keep saving the money and see what comes in Sept. Dealers need to sell cars more than we need to buy them so prices aren't going to go up anytime soon. every forum I've looked at, SRT, 370Z, Lotus....dealers are selling cars for well under invoice. Just wait and the right car and deal will come along.

2G didn't start at lunch today. Same random, sporatic (undiagnosed) fuel issue that left me stranded in Santa Monica while visiting California. Urge to kill car rising.
Aw :hug3:

You get it started not long after tho? Diagnosing and resolving that issue would still most likely cost much less than a new car. And with new parts in, it won't be an issue again for another 10 years either, right?

Did the same thing last weekend.
4800 sq ft, ~1 acre, 3 car garage original price $699k, current $499k...waiting until $400k and I am in like Flint!:ninja2:

At least it was an easy fix, right?

Don't you just hate that -- those little bs hiccups which shouldn't happen... ever. And cause tremendous annoyances and inconveniences. :noplease:

Glad that it wasn't anything serious, Jeremy. The GS-T is just upset you thought about trading her in.
