Hello, I'm Adam, I am a scientific glass apparatus maker and I have access to machinists, engeneers, mathemiticans, and every tool you need. I have had my Rs 01 for about a week, and I LOVE it, but it's slow slow slo-o-oO. But it has potential. I had 2.3 Saab spg modified with a Garrett, 3"pipes, and slammed on Bilstien, so 2.4 is plenty of displacement, actually the 3g feels like a saab, the way it handles and low heavy center of gravity.

Well, I looked into turbos, (might still just go that way with fast spooling little garrett, looking for about 10) and I looked into nitrous, and superchargers. Has anyone put an M90 on one of these? is there oil involved?

I am going to extend the pulley 1.5 feet with a big thick aluminum billett so it sits to the right of the engine compartment out of the way, and pop in a cheap intercooler with 3" glass (where I can), steel and silicone plumbing.

Ooops, I meant, GM M90 SUPERCHARGER Now, imagine I have the manifolds made to fit the SuperCharger so now there is just 2 round 3" holes, one in, one out, and clamp my hoses to that, what do I need to do to the fuel system so it doesnt go lean and blow up. I imagine upgrade the injectors, what else?

I also see complete evo 8 motors all ready (so they say) to swap in on ebay for 2-3k, is that do-able? looks horribly hard and nothing I want to do, but those complete ones, w harness, ecu, and transmission, alt, compressor, will they fit?? I kinda think more peoplle would do it, but if I decide to go with the turbo, it seems like it will cost almost as much (rebuilt sohc head, pistons, turbo kit, fuel upgrades $$$).

The GM M90 SUPERCHARGER will fit, i measured it, but will it work? Also there is an Audi supercharger that would fit in place of the air conditioner compressor.

Don't just dismiss it out of hat, i know it sounds stupid and noobish, but i think i could get it work, someone put one in their toyo pickup and just left factory fi, check it out, 1UZ Toyota Pickup with M90 Supercharger 2nd to 3rd gear pull - YouTube

Why not just put the charger on the intake with a hacked up outlander manifold?

Ripp made a centrifugal blower for the V6 and I think I4, I4 turbo was the way to go since parasitic loss is low AND there are turbo manifolds a plenty which bolt on.

Hacked up outlander, looks good !!! yea, i probably will go with the turbo because there are manifolds and stuff already made, but the superchargers are diirt cheap!

thanks!! thats the kinda thinkin i need! hmmmm. montero.. going to the you-pull-it yard tomorro to grab big brakes and see if i can find goodies, maybe adapt a set of coil overs.

Could always twin charge.

Whats that? twin turbos? I only need maybe 8psi, Car is ALllmost fast enough... maybe the pipes and tune will make it quick, I don't care about top end, just the get up and go, I live on super sick twisty back roads, and a 45 min commute oon the highway, I never need to go over 90.

Looks like I will most likely be going the turbo route after all, I need to find one that spools early like the garett i had, so i get torque at low rpm's too. Tooo much fabricating to have it come out anywhere near clean looking., there are 3 Superchatgers on ebay for 100 bucks of less tho.

I'm inspired, you guys get these things to run 13's sohc !!! holy shit, I would probably run..32's?.

No, roots blower feeding and low rpm and a turbo that spools up big boost at high rpm.
