I'm not sure what to think about the exterior, but I love the interior. :twitch:

:noway:

Once again a car company taking a concept sketch/drawing/idea, throwing out most of the things that make it cool and slapping it on the market (Anyone remember the new Mustang?)

Some funky ideas, but the integrated radio and almost cookie-cutter copy of the 3G interior makes me wanna gag. (Look at where the radio, HVAC controls, hazard button, Very similar door panels to the 2002+, etc)

All in all, disappointed and don't have to worry about picking one up anytime in the future. Ore good point I noticed, without a flat trunk area, it might be hard for idiots to put huge aluminum wings on it (I am sure they will find a way though)

man, with a cd player like that its gonna be hard as hell to put a HU in there....you'll have to get a whole big kit like on the taurus's

After looking at this thing for about 5 minutes, I decided that I do not like it either. The side view mirrors really screw it up and the car looks like it sits too high. It looks too much like the Mercury Cougar. :noway: You've lost me as a customer for good, Mitsu. This car was your last chance to win me back as a buyer.

I don't know. Mitsu needs to pack their bags and leave North America for good.

or let japan take over MMNA for good. JDM and european cars arent this ugly.....
No kidding. I think the only thing that is saving their ass right now is the EVO. Otherwise, I hope they dissolve and die. Fucking assholes.

and the montero and the galant and...uhh...what else do they make?
They're axing the Montero Limited and the Galant is okay looking, but not great. The Endeavor is not bad, but comparing to other SUVs such as the Murano, Pathfinder, MDX, Highlander and others, it has nothing going for it. I do like the RalliArt Lancer, but I've yet to see one on the streets.

HOLY SH*T THAT LOOKS LIKE CRAP! :wtf: :shoot:

So damn heavy and you cant even put multiple headunits on the dash? WTF?

What I want to know is what kind of weed Mitsubishi is smoking because they obviously f*cked up on this car. I mean exterior wise I give it a 7/10 but the interior? 2/10 and I'm being damn generous.

This 4G looks like something a girl would drive. :noway:

The 1G was a good car, the 2G was well quite simply unbeatable for eclipses and the 3G well it had looks decent performance and many things you can add to it to make it good.

The 4g? ummmmm I dont see anything in it that would make me even consider buying it...

Sadly this is one car that is not going to sell well unless of course your are an old lady that likes cars for the pure looks only and even so I would tell that lady she has poor taste.

We are all better off with our cars and if you want something better go for the EVO. :yesway:

The only good cars out of Mitsu's factory are the following:

3000GT VR-4
3000GT VR-4 Spyder
1G-3G Eclipses
EVO

The rest? :gives:

They are seriously sacrificing quality for quantity and going cheap on all of their new cars.

I can easily foresee a HUGE MASSIVE INSANE lost in value over the years if you own one of the newer models of 05'.

My next car in 4 years is definately going to have to be a C6 LS7 Corvette they should be affordable in 4 years. :yesway:

Crysler really fucked up the company! Why is the car so jacked up in the back?
Daimler Chrysler has nothing to do with the 4G at all. This is all MMNA's doing.

Have you guys noticed on the interior except for the main dash that many of the "High Quality Luxury" plastic pieces they used are the EXACT SAME PLASTIC PIECES YOU WOULD FIND ON THE 3G.

Now thats really getting ripped off for your money... I mean when a car maker uses old parts from an old model and then puts it in their new model do you call that a new car?

Nope I bet that at least 25% of all of the things you can find on the 4G are reused and manufactured the same way from the 3G.

Like the recliner lever on the seats the E-brake, door handles, A-pillar, rear view mirror, headliner, etc...

I honestly think that the only thing in this car that is worth any form of attention is the engine.

I applaud Mitsu for releasing the 4G....

So I can stick its V6 in my 3G. ;)

If the seats fit in a 3G maybe ill buy some for my car, just cause they look more like a racing seat than the PP leather seats do.

If a lot of the parts are interchangeable, we can do a fundraiser, buy a 4G V6, and part it out. I called the engine and ECU. :woot:
Hahaha, maybe they wont sell and Mitsu would just give us the parts.

I think that is the only reason we are glad it is here also. The endless possibilities that come up with the new MIVEC. I think we will be seing a few engine swaps later this year with that engine in a 3G.

It's just a matter of time before someone tries doing this themselves.

And since you can practically order a 4G engine from a dealer or elsewhere now it shouldn't be so hard if you got the $$$$ to do so. I myself would like to see the Dyno and HP gains with a 4G engine and a turbo when this happens.

This is the perfect opportunity for all of you guys over 100K on your engine to drop a brand new more powerful engine in your 3G at 0 miles. A new and better running 3G.
