how is it rice? the reason i have one is i have done extensive mods to my car -- including to the fuel lines. a wire can break out any time. plus this thing was in my trunk not hanging off an A pillar!

That sucks... I keep mine in the trunk secured to my box which is held down with like 8 bolts... Dude that sucks... When I was in HS and working fastfood the shop next to use had a fire and someone pulled the Ansle(SP) its like a super fine dust that kills the fire but is safe for people they spent like 4 days cleaning the restaurant.. Its so fine you cant vacume it or sweep it you have to pat it up with damp rags.. hahahah Sucks man I feel your pain...

I have to say that it is not rice to have one in the car.. It is dangerous to have it in some locations up front like on the A pillar... BUt I recommend having one... I have one for the engine and cause I have lots of electronics which while unlikely could catch fire...

nice setup dude. i think i'll mount mine in the back. it's a much bigger one though 5kg =/ it's not too bling either.. so i kinda wanna hide it. -- see the whole point of a fire extinguisher is to easilly access it.. without it going off by itself. so too many straps might be a bad idea.. unless they were velcro or something.

 

at first i thought it looked like your dash was white from scorch marks & fire... i was like holy crap!

Yikes.......... I had a fire in my 1st car and We had to use one to put it out and that was a MESS cleaning up. Its nothing wrong with having one. I am going to put mine in my car sometime. But i think ill mount it on the back of the armrest in front of the seat.
