Just a short ram intake

 

Any check engine light? When's the last time you've done spark plugs and other maintenance.

 

No lights are on, and haven't done it since I got the car in October

 

When did it start happening? After you put on the intake?

 

I can't remember, but It is possible it was after I put on the intake. Maybe I have a leak?

 

Did you mess with any of the spark plug wires ? Could be old and brittle

 

ive had this problem a few times before once when my intake had a leak and another time when my idle air bleed valve went bad. when the 'iabv' went bad the problem was intermittent before it totally gave out. also does your new intale have a mass airflow sensor on it?

 

if it's the intake, you could try disconnecting the battery for 5 min to reset the ecu settings-- might be used to the old intake air flow for all of the ecu metering stuff..

 

It has the sensor and I just recently changed the car battery so I don't think thats it

 

I had this problem, it happened when taking off. Also from 1st to 2nd at low speeds. My car would stutter when letting off the gas just a tiny bit.During rush hour it really sucked to drive due to the stop and go stutter. Fixed this problem last week, 2 motor mounts were bad. Thankfully my car is under a used car warranty only had to pay $100
