i have an 03 gt. is it ok to buy a haynes manual for 00-02 eclipses? i checked if they have the 03 manual but they dont have it. i just want to do th maintenance like spark plugs and belts. cause im at 58,000miles now.

I'd agree that for the engine stuff it should be ok (definately ok for a spark plug swap). The Hayne's manuals are complete shit when it comes to finding anything Spyder related though. They rarely show pics for the different Spyder parts...
I have one, and I just use it for general helpful hints. It will tell you what tools you can use in the place of the special tools described in the service manual, what compounds you can use in place of the ones described in the service manual, etc. There is a lot of stuff in there that is just no help because of the number of model years and configurations covered. It also covers the 2g.
I've found mistakes in it as well -- the O2 sensors are mislabeled.
The wiring diagrams are not correct for the 3g.
The pics for the 3g are all auto. Pics for the manual, that would, for example describe where the speed sensor and reverse light switch are in relation to eachother, are absent.
