I have not used HiFonics amps however I came VERY close to buying some. From what I have gathered their sub amps are great (the names Zeus, Collasas, etc come to mind). I am a big Orion HCCA amp fan so I am all about true clean strong power. Which models where you thinking about getting? Personally I would avoid Memphis all together but thats just a paranoia thing. I have a gut feeling that they are more bling than audio. I have no experience with Mephis brand amps.

 

They are good amps for the money.

My friend is powering to 15's with a hifonics amp, and me and him both love it. he has had the amp for about 2 years, and hes tried 4 differents sets of subs.. each one hits like crazy!!

I have a Hifonics amp powering my subs, & it is a great amp. Keep in mind that in car audio you always get what you pay for, but for the money, they are awesome. I have had absolutely no problems with mine, & my subs sound great.
