Not really fond of the black bumpers and sideskirts, or the foglights really. A drop will do it good though. What springs are you going with?

The car looks horrible with the black bottom and cheap autozone fogs.

 

I dont know if its because im used to seeing my car being lowered and other fellow 3g's lowered but god damn that looks lifted like a monster truck. the car has potential if you stuck with one theme.

well, that is what happens. people will see what they don't like first. and they are right.
the fogs look too small, and they (and i) do not like the black bottom of the car. it is opinions, not flames. no insults were given, just opinions. (the drop it comment is always going to happen to stock ride height cars.. these things are just too high.)

here is some good for you: the pain, and interior looks nice and shiny.

I really think the painted accents coupled with the cheap, Autozone fogs just kills the car and makes it seem tasteless. You could have gone with a nice grille to cover the empty space for probably cheaper and with less hassle then those fogs.

 

i have been cheaping out on the car... but personally i like the black lip... i think when it's dropped, the black will look better. either way, it's getting re-painted because it was hit before i bought it, and the guy who fixed it was most likely colorblind... the driver fender and driver door are TOTALLY different shades of red. it's depressing. I might do from the bottom of the windows up and the spoiler black too... so only the sides, the hood, and the trunk will be red...

fogs: they need to be bigger, i know, once i have money i'll get nicer ones in there.
clear corners: will be tinted to basically black to match the red/black scheme.
Headlights: the smoked chrome will be painted black, when i install the new Halo rings and mess with the cutoff line in the projectors (fukk the pass side angle)
Rims: will be black 17's or 18's
Suspention: Tein Stech with KYB's.

with all of that done, i'll be in one theme, and it'll look better...

but i have 5000$+ to spend on a rock buggy jeep first, so be patient.

it's my DD, i don't put a lot of effort into it. so far:
short ram intake
short tube header
rims
slotted brakes

i got new rims and tires from a long time friend... he didn't want them.. so he said 150$ :yesway:

 

slight drop and a few minor mods recently.

so the megan racing 2" drop springs are installed. they didn't drop the whole 2"... more like 1.5". they're nice and stiff, but not too stiff so they're perfect for a daily driver. i went from kelly feirce HP's (215/45r17) to goodyear eagle GT's (225/45r17) so that filled it in a tiny bit better, and now i'm happy with the look of the whole thing.

also, I got a megan racing short shifter which shortened the throw by about 40%... so i'm not driving a semi truck anymore. the weighted ball came chrome, so i had to stick it on a drill and sand it so it didn't look so obnoxious.

now for the coolest little tidbit that i thought of... since i don't smoke in the car, i wanted my ashtray to do something productive... i took an ipod stand that i had bought for my car and took it apart, and fused it with the ashtray. now it's an ipod dock and is hard wired into my car's ignition. then an AUX cable runs from under the dash into the deck and plays my ipod (or whoever hooks theirs up) while charging it. also, you can hide the fact it exists entirely.

 

I hope you didn't put those springs on the factory struts and shocks.

well i thought suspension is "performance", but i didn't want to put it in the suspension section cuz i also got a "performance" shifter... :ndance:
