Maybe color match the bumper inserts? Or at least paint them white to blend in more? Just a suggestion since they stick out so much, unless you're planning to put a plate up front.

haha yeah i've never got the fake vent since i've owned the car. i bought it without it and i still havent got it and i plan on getting an aftermarket from bumper soon but there just holes in the bumper right now. i'm looking for bumper inserts.

 

Don't go with a front body kit, the kits available look rather tacky, I suggest getting a lip kit if you are looking to enhance the outside of your car. Those fake vents come up commonly in the for sale section, try to get your hands on them and repaint them black if they are faded.

Good looking car, not a bad sub set up, just make sure you finish the project.

 

Ah, I see. I didn't know they were just holes. lol. Well good luck on modding your car.

 

Steveo is right. A few good finished projects are better than a lot of unfinished not so good ones. I also think a lip kit is better than a bodykit.

yea i ment that i wanted to get another stock bumper. and i would want the lip kit and paint it black in the front and get the 2 tone paint job. those are some future mods though... if you got it all at the same time it wouldnt be as fun

oh yeah. Gotta fix some intercooler piping and get it tuned with the 560's, walbro and evo maf i switched out. I just have the stock fuel map flashed in right now.

I'm not quite sure. i hope to be around the 300 mark but from the similar setup from everyone else it looks like it might be around 280-290. I'm turning the boost up to 15 on high boost

This is my old crashed bumper. I just wanted to get an idea of what it will look like one day when i get enough saved up after the motor and everything else. I didnt mask it off just quickly did it. Should i get the intercooler professionally painted black??

 

I think if you painted your new bumper like this (I assume you are anyways) I think you should paint the intercooler black. That would look pretty sweet. It would give it more of an evo look to the front also.

 

idk about that intercooler cut out but the stealth intercooler whould looks really clean and it will make it look like a sleeper

kiddd i think you should leave the bumper cut out just stock it will look better imo or get a different front bumper

yeah that was just my old intercooler and i had some kind of black paint laying around that i used. ha. Idk if i want it a gloss black or a flat black.

 

I would say match it to whatever type of black you paint the lower center section of your bumper. Flat black center/flat black ic, gloss center/gloss ic

yeah i liked the cleaner look alot better too.. It's just that in the summer time here in texas it would overheat without the cutout. I'm trying to find a decent looking pearl white front bumper locally to buy and i might just keep it the sleeper look with that bumper

 

Yeah I understand, however I have a dual core, 2 row aluminum radiator and only the driver side fan and I dont overheat surprisingly:lol:

 

I can understand the purpose of the cutout, but to me it doesn't look good. I would get a 2008 evo front bumper and mimic that. With a little body work it would look nice and you would have more open air flow.
